1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pilot Car Load Board ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Service and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Service

Pilot Car Load Board is a platform that connects pilot car brokers with pilot car drivers for oversize load escort services. The Service allows brokers to post loads and manage their pilot network, and allows pilots to browse and respond to available loads. The Service is available via web and mobile applications.

3. User Representations

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • All registration information you submit is truthful and accurate
  • You will maintain the accuracy of such information
  • Your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, including a valid phone number (verified via SMS), email address, company name, and contact name. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

Broker accounts require administrative approval before load posting privileges are granted. We reserve the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our sole discretion.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Pilot Car Load Board and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal business purposes.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent load information
  • Impersonate another person or company
  • Use the Service to spam, harass, or abuse other users
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions or bans
  • Attempt to access another user's account without authorization
  • Systematically retrieve data or content from the Service without written permission
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the Service
  • Interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

7. Load Postings

Brokers are solely responsible for the accuracy of their load postings, including origin, destination, dates, pay rates, and service requirements. Pilot Car Load Board does not verify load details and is not a party to any agreement between brokers and pilots. The Service serves as a platform for connection only.

8. User-Generated Content

By posting content on the Service (including load postings, company information, and any other submissions), you grant Pilot Car Load Board a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with operating and providing the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE AVAILABILITY, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF THE SERVICE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DISPUTES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM TRANSACTIONS OR INTERACTIONS BETWEEN USERS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PILOT CAR LOAD BOARD AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO US DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or complaints from other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any legal action arising from or related to these Terms or the Service must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Florida.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
